SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis.
